Broadway Classroom, December 2009

On December 2, 2009 we'll be heading to Broadway for our annual workshop and show. This year's show is Billy Elliot, winner of 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Our workshop will be Business of the Business, where we'll learn about all aspects of putting a show up on Broadway. There's something for everyone's interest: actor, director, set designer, costumer, choreographer and more.

The trip is open to any Nottingham student, plus a limited number of adults. The cost is $66.50 per student, $100 per adult. Please download the trip form, fill it out and return it with your deposit to hold your place on the trip.

Spring Forum

This year's spring forum was held on June 5. We hosted Nottingham alumna and working theater, television, and film actress Laura Hammer for an acting workshop. Thanks to Laura, and to everyone who participated and helped out.

The cast, crew, tech, pit, artists, costumers, make-up ladies and other students were all fantastic. Special thanks to our directors, producers, musicians, sound, sets and other teachers, and to all the volunteers who helped our Stars shine and made it another stand-out show!
